Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Nationwide Recruitment 2018


Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for appointment into the position below:

Road Marshal Assistant (RMA) CADRE
1.     a. Road Marshal Assistant II
Qualifications Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, two of the subjects must be English Language and Mathematics.
2.     b. Road Marshal Assistant III
Qualifications Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.
Artisans and Tradesmen
Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc must possess the following:
i. A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
iii. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.

Marshal Inspector (MI) CADRE
1.     a. Marshal Inspector I
Qualifications 
Candidates must possess the following:
i. Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant disciplines.
ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate.
iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years
2.     b. Marshal Inspector II
Qualifications 
Candidates must possess the following:
i. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
ii. Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
3.     c. Marshal Inspector III
Qualifications 
Candidates must possess the following:
i. National Diploma (ND) in relevant disciplines.
ii. National Diploma in Community Health Extension Work.
iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years

OFFICER CADRE

Qualifications: 

Candidates must possess the following:

i.          Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in any of the following disciplines; Law, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Laboratory Science, Psychology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance/Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Physical and Health Education, Accounting, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mass Communication, Social Sciences and Humanities.
ii.  NYSC Discharge Certificate.

OFFICER (MBBS) CADRE

Qualification

Candidates must possess the following:

i. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate.

Nigeria Federal Fire Service (FFS) Massive Nationwide Recruitment 2018

The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointments to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Federal Fire Service (FFS):
POSITIONS:
  • CATEGORY A: SUPERINTENDENT CADRE
    1. Assistant Superintendent of Fire I (ASF I) CONPASS 09.
      Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree or membership of a recognized professional body.
    2. Assistant Superintendent of Fire II (ASF II) CONPASS 08.  
      Applicants must be holders of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from recognized Universities.
  • CATEGORY B: INSPECTORATE CADRE
    1. Senior Inspector of Fire (SIF) CONPASS 08: 
      Applicants must possess Higher National Diploma or its equivalent from recognized Polytechnics/institutions.
    2. Inspector of Fire (IF) Nursing, CONHESS 06 
      Applicants must be registered Nurses (RN), Registered Midwives (RM) or Registered Nurses/Midwives (RNM) obtained from recognized institutions.
    3. Assistant Inspector of Fire (AIF), General Duty, CONPASS 06. 
      Applicants must possess National Diploma (ND), NCE or AdvancedNABTEB obtained from recognized institutions

  • CATEGORY C: ASSISTANT CADRE
    1. Fire Assistant II (FA II) CONPASS 04 
      Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, which should include Mathematics and English Language.
    2. Fire Assistant III (FA III) CONPASS 03 
      Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, which should include at least English or Mathematics.

  • METHOD OF APPLICATION
    1. All Applications must be online.
    2. Candidates for positions on Categories A and B(i) (holders of Degree and HND certificates) are expected to log into the website www.cdfipb.careers fill and submit the application form online.
    3. Candidates on Categories B ii and C (ND, NCE, NABTEB, SSCE, NECO or their equivalents) are to log into www.fedfire.gov.ng to fill and submit their applications.
    4. Candidates are advised to print out the Referee forms which must be duly completed for submission during screening/documentation.
    5. Candidates should NOTE that Multiple Applications will automatically lead to disqualification.

  • SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
    Applications should be submitted online within six (6) weeks from the date of publication.

  • STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR RECRUITMENT
    1. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
    2. Applicants must possess the requisite qualifications and certificates. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment centre shall not be accepted after the recruitment
    3. Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from government recognized hospitals
    4. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offences;
    5. Applicants must not be drug addicts or members of any secret society or cult
    6. Applicants must not be financially embarrassed
    7. Applicants must be between ages of 18 and 30 years
    8. Applicants’ heights must not be less than 1.65m for male and 1.60m for female
    9. Applicants’ chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men
    10. Computer literacy will be of added advantage

Few days ago, the most anticipated news broke out from Npower social media "2017 APPLICANTS can now check their name if they have been selected starting from Monday 20th 11:30pm" One will wonder what takes them so long to release the long awaited list? The answer is very simple "transparency sake" nothing more, nothing else, no names from senator or one big man at the top, the program is extremely for unemployed graduates. As you prepare towards 11:30pm on Monday, please note the following tips that will guide you;
1. Login website www.npower.gov.ng

2. Login with your phone number and your name or surname

3. The site may be extremely busy, we want to encourage you not to panic, you can try check your name anytime, so long you are able to do this before the commencement of verification exercise.

4. Remember only 300,000 will be selected out of 2.8m that applied for this program.

5. Always remember to send your complaint through all their social media Facebook, tweeter, instagram or support@npvn.desk-mail.com

6. Be present at the venue of the verification exercise.

Npower Begins Device Distribution in Lagos.

N-power conducts test run of  Device Delivery process in Lagos 

Bank of Industry (BOI) and their N-Power Service Partner (MTN) has  conducted a test run of the N-Power Device Delivery process at the MTN Service Centre in Opebi - Ikeja, Lagos State.

The test run started on Friday July 21.
 
Some N-Power Volunteers such as Ititim Glory Agionim picked up their N-Power Devices.

As at close of business on Friday,  the following N-Power Device Vendors: AfriOne, Samsung, Floss Signature, Tecno (Early Batch) and RLG have delivered their devices to the N-Power Central Warehouse, Lagos,where the pre-loading of N-Power Content into the devices and all other device preparation processes are concluded before delivery shipment.

In the coming days and weeks, N-Power volunteers (Batch A) that selected these device brands will be informed of their device collection centers across Nigeria.

In addition, Npower Nigeria said it would also be receiving N-Power devices from the other (4) vendors: Techno, Brian, Beta and Zinox.

Federal Government Commences Recruitment of 500,000 Graduates Nationwide

The Federal Government’s plan to recruit 500,000 graduates for direct teaching jobs has commenced on June 12 through an internet portal, npower.gov.ng.

According to the statement issued by the Vice Presidential Spokesman, Mr Laolu Akande on Wednesday, he said the portal will be live on June 11, while applicants are expected to visit the site on June 12.

 The statement further said that young unemployed Nigerians are advised to visit the website and apply.

 According to the statement, the 500,000 Teacher Corps is nicknamed `N-Power Teach' on the portal.

Besides that, there is also the N-Power Knowledge initiative under which 25,000 Nigerians would be trained in technology programmes , and N-Power Build, to give vocational skills training to 75,000 interested Nigerians, the statement said.

Furthermore, it said that all trainees would be paid for the duration of their training.

According to the statement, the N-Power Teacher Corps initiative is a paid volunteer programme of a two-year duration, under which unemployed Nigerians selected and trained would play teaching, instructional, and advisory roles in primary and secondary schools.

Others would be engaged in agricultural extension systems across the country, public health and community education, covering civic and adult education.

The statement said that each trainee would be paid N23,000 per month and in addition, receive computer devices containing information necessary for their specific engagement, as well as information for their continuous training and development.

It further explained that the N-Power Knowledge scheme comprised three aspects of Creative, Technology Software and Hardware each of which would train 25,000 young Nigerians.

Under the creative aspect, no fewer than 5,000 people would also be trained in Animation, Graphic Design, Post-Production, Script-Writing.

The statement added that other schemes in the Social Investment Programmes which would be rolled out in the coming weeks include the Conditional Cash Transfer that would pay N5,000 monthly to one million Nigerians and the Micro-Credit Scheme for more than 1.5 million persons.

The rest are the Home Grown School Feeding programme that would serve 5.5 million pupils in primary school a free meal per day and the Education Support Grant programme for 100,000 students in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, (STEM) and Education.
