NPOWER: Here is what to do if you are yet to receive March and April Stipends.

As volunteers started receiving their stipends for the month of May, some aggrieved group of volunteers has taken to Twitter to protest the non-payment of their March and April stipends. The group claimed that over 80,000 volunteers are yet to receive stipends for March and April.

In a reaction to that post, NPOWER twitted that "The figure is incorrect. There are less than 12,000 who are affected. We know exactly the number of people that are yet to receive their stipends. We are working on resolving the issues. And we have asked them to send details in again for comparison."

In an earlier message by the handler of NPOWER Twitter handle, he had given instructions that volunteers should follow if they are yet to receive their stipends.

"If you are yet to be paid your March and April stipends, follow the instructions listed carefully.

1. Send ONE email to volunteersupport@npvn.ng

2. Title the email - Unpaid March and April

3. The email should include:
  a. State of Residence
  b. Name
  c. PPA
  d. NPVN no
