Npower Begins Device Distribution in Lagos.

N-power conducts test run of  Device Delivery process in Lagos 

Bank of Industry (BOI) and their N-Power Service Partner (MTN) has  conducted a test run of the N-Power Device Delivery process at the MTN Service Centre in Opebi - Ikeja, Lagos State.

The test run started on Friday July 21.
 
Some N-Power Volunteers such as Ititim Glory Agionim picked up their N-Power Devices.

As at close of business on Friday,  the following N-Power Device Vendors: AfriOne, Samsung, Floss Signature, Tecno (Early Batch) and RLG have delivered their devices to the N-Power Central Warehouse, Lagos,where the pre-loading of N-Power Content into the devices and all other device preparation processes are concluded before delivery shipment.

In the coming days and weeks, N-Power volunteers (Batch A) that selected these device brands will be informed of their device collection centers across Nigeria.

In addition, Npower Nigeria said it would also be receiving N-Power devices from the other (4) vendors: Techno, Brian, Beta and Zinox.

Youths Matchmade For Marriage During Service in a Church Delta State.


 

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, invited single men and women to the altar and ordered them to start choosing whoever they like for marriage during a service in his church in Warri, Delta state.

During  the service, the pastor summoned all single men to file out and spinsters to line up behind the men of their choice and said “If anybody wants to marry anyone here come and touch the person – any person you like.

“We cannot allow women to be like this forever. I want to marry for these people.

“Look at your back. I give you people from now till month ending to screen your wives. Nobody should go and meet for night o,” the man of God said.


Pastor Fufeyin promised to sponsor the mass wedding of the would-be couples.

African Union Youth Volunteer in 2018!


The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC), established in 2010, is a continental development program that promotes youth volunteerism in Africa. The program aims to deepen the status of young people as key actors in Africa’s development targets and goals, enhancing their participation in policy development as well as design and implementation of relevant interventions towards the Africa Union’s Agenda 2063, ‘The Africa we want’. It brings people together to share skills, knowledge, creativity and learning to build a more integrated, prosperous and
peaceful Continent driven by its citizens. The volunteering opportunities are intended to build professionalism and a sense of responsibility among the participants, thus enhancing their employability.

Young African professionals are recruited to serve for a period of 12 months as AU Volunteers in an AU Member State other than their own. The next intake of volunteers for deployment in 2018 will be from the 11th – 31st of July 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants have to meet the following criteria:
1. Citizen of an AU Member State living on the continent or the Diaspora;
2. Aged between 18 – 35 years;
3. Have a post-secondary certified qualification(s) (TVET, Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent)
4. Available in 2018 to dedicate 12 (twelve) months for volunteer work;
5. Willing to live and work in another AU Member State;
6. Is proficient in at least one AU working language (Arabic, English, French,
Portuguese);
7. Has at least one year verifiable volunteering experience and one year
professional work experience.
