Few days ago, the most anticipated news broke out from Npower social media "2017 APPLICANTS can now check their name if they have been selected starting from Monday 20th 11:30pm" One will wonder what takes them so long to release the long awaited list? The answer is very simple "transparency sake" nothing more, nothing else, no names from senator or one big man at the top, the program is extremely for unemployed graduates. As you prepare towards 11:30pm on Monday, please note the following tips that will guide you;

1. Login website www.npower.gov.ng

2. Login with your phone number and your name or surname

3. The site may be extremely busy, we want to encourage you not to panic, you can try check your name anytime, so long you are able to do this before the commencement of verification exercise.

4. Remember only 300,000 will be selected out of 2.8m that applied for this program.

5. Always remember to send your complaint through all their social media Facebook, tweeter, instagram or support@npvn.desk-mail.com

6. Be present at the venue of the verification exercise.

7. If you are successfully selected, please prepare all your credentials for the verification exercise.

8. Note that checking your name as from next week Monday doesn't guarantee you are volunteer for this program until after your verification exercise.

9. Keep all your details to yourself only, don't share it with second party.

10. Learn from any 2016 volunteer.

Samuel Peter Celebrates 37th Birthday.

Samuel Okon Peter (born September 6, 1980) is a Nigerian-American professional boxer who held the WBC heavyweight title in 2008. He rose to prominence in his early career following a string of knockout wins, at a time when the titles of the heavyweight division were largely fragmented.

In March 2008, Peter won a portion of the world heavyweight championship by knocking out Oleg Maskaev to win the WBC title. In October, in what would be his only defense of the title, Peter lost to a returning Vitali Klitschko, who stopped him in eight rounds. Peter is known for his rivalry with the Klitschko brothers, having faced Wladimir twice (in 2005 and 2010) and Vitali once.

N-power 2017 Registration Closes 11:59pm Today (Jyly 27).

 

After 7weeks, 5days of receiving applications from tens of thousands of Nigerian youths, N-power 2017 Application comes to an end today.

The job application portal will formally close by 11:59PM July 27, 2017, while the online assessment test continues till August 31,2017.

N-power portal opened June 3, and was initially meant to close by July 3, but the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo extended it till July 27 to give more Nigerians opportunity to take part in the exercise.

As at July 4, Npower 2017 had received 2.45million applications.

That is expected to have risen. No one knows by what figure.

But the 2017 which is the second phase of the job initiative of Federal Government of Nigeria was well received considering its unprecedented success since it was launched over a year ago.

200,000 young Nigerians are currently in the FG's payroll with N30,000monthly stipend, which payment started December 2016.

The 2017 second phase is targeting another 300,000 more unemployed graduates.

It's Non-graduate programme is expected to kick-start few weeks away.
